Coin Snacks with Jack talks with Dwight Manley about the SS Central America

In this week’s episode of Coin Snacks with Jack, Rare Collectibles TV host and coin buyer Jack McNamara was joined by facilitator of the SS Central America treasure Dwight Manely for a live interview. Each new episode of Coin Snacks with Jack will go live on YouTube every Wednesday at 3PM EST/Noon PST and feature special topics or informative interviews.

In this episode, available now at YouTube.com/RareCollectiblesTVDwight Manley opened up about what item he was most fascinated by out of all of the items discovered under the sea in the SS Central America shipwreck. “The SS Central America is a piece of history that we can touch and hold,” Dwight Manley said on Coin Snacks with Jack. From gold coins to wine bottles, each item recovered from the SS Central America is a time capsule from the past unexpectedly discovered today.

As managing partner of California Gold Marketing Group, Dwight Manley shared a unique perspective on numismatic treasures. After 20 years since the first discovery of gold at the SS Central America shipwreck, Dwight Manley details the events that led to his acquisition of the treasure and how the second discovery led to a safe containing surprising artifacts.
