The Morgan Dollar, designed by George T. Morgan, was minted from 1878 to 1921. In 1893, the San Francisco Mint struck 100,000 examples of the Morgan Dollar. This example has been graded in Mint State 63 condition. Out of all 1893-S Morgan Dollars, only 13 have been graded in MS63 condition with just 22 finer known examples. With such a miniscule mintage and MS63 population, this stunning coin is not only an Absolute and Condition Rarity, but also one of the finest known of the issue.
