With a mintage of only 350,000 coins, the 1889-CC Morgan Dollar is one of the issues with the lowest number of examples struck. Morgan Dollars were typically struck in high numbers, but issues from the Carson City Mint were typically under one million examples struck. Only 32 examples have been graded in MS64 DPL condition with just 1 graded higher in MS64+ DPL condition. Coins that are considered Deep Prooflike condition feature mirrored surfaces despite not being a proof issue.
