WWI M1905 Springfield Arsenal Bayonet

• This bayonet is the 1905 model and was produced by Springfield Armory in 1911
  • Springfield Armory was one of the most prolific manufacturers of arms and ammunition during World War I and World War II
• Signature 16” blade has never been cut or modified
  • The blade is polished and missing its original finish
  • Small chips are present throughout the blade, suggesting the blade was used in combat
• The bayonet’s ridged, wooden grip has a very nice patina
• The bayonet’s canvas-covered scabbard is present, complete with its leather drag
  • A few small tears are present on the scabbard
  • Original wire clips are still attached to the scabbard
