Renowned artist James Montgomery Flagg provides the striking image of Uncle Sam delivering a penetrating stare, as he encourages all viewers to aid in the selling of war saving stamps during the first World War. A restored poster with good color and an overall presentable appearance. Prior to restoration, the poster had edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, and a couple of tears within the borders; most notably a tear in the bottom border that traveled into the interior image. Although the poster has been backed on linen, only light touchup has been applied to a few of the pinholes.
