Offered in this lot is a poster from the U.S. Treasury promoting its War Savings Stamps program to help continue funding the war effort overseas. The poster features a giant eagle standing over a nest with U.S. fighter planes flying out of it below the slogan 'Keep him free.' A partially restored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. Prior to linen backing it had light edge wear, paper lifts from the verso, small chips, creases, and minor tears. Linen backing has remedied the paper lifts, and no other restorative work has been applied. Grades for all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
