The Morgan Dollar, designed by George T. Morgan, was minted from 1878 to 1904 and for one final year in 1921. This 1880-P Morgan Dollar is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, making it a stunning addition to your numismatic collection. The New Orleans Mint is highly connected to the Morgan Dollar series as they almost exclusively struck silver Morgan Dollars after the Civil War. New Orleans Mint Morgan Dollars are notorious for being difficult to acquire with beautiful strikes and in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, making this example a true numismatic rarity. Very few Morgan Dollars survived in Brilliant Uncirculated condition despite being struck in high mintages.
