There aren't many posters considered more desirable than those from this iconic war drama, and Casablanca's Style B half sheet should be at the top of any classic collector's list. It showcases not only Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in their most famous roles, but also several of their supremely talented costars. The likenesses of Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt, Peter Lorre, and even Hollywood newcomer Sydney Greenstreet can all be found on this excellent half sheet design. With its stellar performances and its themes of duty and redemption, it's no wonder that Michael Curtiz's landmark Oscar-winner has endured as an American classic. This bright half sheet was never folded prior to its conservation, and it now looks wonderful after professional restoration to mild edge wear, pinholes, small tears, and a curved tear next to Peter Lorre's credit. There are a few unobtrusive smudges still faintly visible. The poster's borders and white background have been airbrushed, finalizing its display-ready presentation. This is considered by most to be the more desirable of the two half sheet styles produced for the film.
