Set of 15: 2001-W - 2016-W West Point Mint American Silver Eagles PF70 Ultra Cameo EVEREST

The American Silver Eagle began production in 1986 and continues to be minted to this day. Shortly after President Ronald Reagan signed the Liberty Coin Act in 1985, the American Silver Eagle Coin series began. Through the signing of the Liberty Coin Act, Reagan was able to begin depleting national stockpiles of silver while simultaneously offering the citizens of our country a way to safely invest in silver bullion. The American Silver Eagle is a popular coin for both investors and numismatists around the world.

The obverse of these coin boasts Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic design of Walking Liberty, which was originally displayed on the Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. The reverse of these coins depicts John M. Mercanti’s rendition of a fearless heraldic eagle. Each of these American Silver Eagles are 40.60 millimeters in diameter and struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver.

Each coin in this set of 2001 to 2016 Proof American Silver Eagles was struck at the West Point Mint. Every one of the 15 coins included in this set is graded a perfect Proof 70 by NGC and has been given an Ultra Cameo designation. Of all American Silver Eagles ever minted, only about 4% are proof struck, making the coins in this set a tremendous numismatic rarity. Included in this set is the 2001-W ASE, which is the first year that the West Point Mint took over the production of Proof American Silver Eagles. Not only do you get the 2001-W, but you will also receive the one year only lettered edge 2016-W. This example celebrates the American Silver Eagle’s 30th anniversary with an inscription along the side of the coin which reads “30th Anniversary.” To add the rarity of this set, each of the 15 coins will come with Rick’s Everest Seal of Approval. This illustrious seal indicates that Rick Tomaska has personally viewed every coin in this set and deemed it to have the highest quality eye appeal for its year and grade. Today this set of stunning American Silver Eagles struck at the West Point Mint can be yours for the low, low price of just $2,595!
