This example has been graded in Mint State 66 condition. Out of all 1865-S Liberty Head Double Eagles, only 11 have been graded in MS66 condition with no finer known examples. With no examples graded higher than this one, this stunning coin is not only a Condition Rarity, but is also among the finest known examples of the issue.
