The design of Liberty with her cap, facing left, was only used in 1793. The mintage for this first-year-of-issue half cent is only 35,334 examples, making it a tremendous Absolute Rarity. With such a minuscule mintage and low MS64BN population, this coin is not only an Absolute and Condition Rarity, but it is also one of the finest known.
