1792 Half Dime PCGS VF25








The Flowing Hair Half Dime, thought to be designed by Robert Birch, was specially struck in 1792. In 1792, the John Harper’s mint in Philadelphia struck 1,500 examples of the Flowing Hair Half Dime. This example has been graded in Very Fine 25 condition. Of all 1792 Flowing Hair Half Dimes struck, only 11 have been graded in VF25 with just 77 finer known examples. With so few examples graded higher than this one, this stunning coin is not only a Condition Rarity, but is also among the finest known examples of the issue.
