18th Century French / Belgium Century Officers Pistol

18th Century French / Belgium Century Officers Pistol

  • A very nice early percussion pistol converted from flintlock likely manufactured in Belgium or France.
  • This one is unresearched with maker name on top of barrel and lock plate.
  • Has early type barrel, octagon to round with script name on top which is likely Belgium or French manufacture.
  • Walnut stock is in very good condition with some slight use having a horn nosecap.
  • This gun probably was manufactured originally in the mid-18th century and converted around 1840-50.
  • Appears to be likely military based on iron furniture.
  • Overall, a very nice example in perfect working condition with the action being nice and tight locking up and working as it should.
