19th Century Stirrup Hilt Militia Cavalry Sword

• An honest 19th century militia sword attributed to use by mounted artillery and cavalry troops as early as the War of 1812, Seminole Wars, Mexican War and also the Civil War.
• An honest example with brass and leather scabbard missing the drag.
• Nice wide sweeping blade in very good condition and leather on scabbard also in very good shape with some slight loss to the drag.
• Leather wrapped grip is present but showing some wear and missing wire wrap.
• Overall, a very honest old veteran with a impressive blade!
