Description
The Silver Peace Dollar, designed by Anthony de Francisci, was minted from 1921 to 1928 and once again from 1934 to 1935. Created to honor the restoration of peace to the world after World War I concluded, this is one of America's most renowned coins. This specific Peace Dollar was struck in 1927 at the Philadelphia Mint and is graded in Mint State 64 condition. Out of every 1927-P Peace Dollar struck, significantly less than 1% have been graded in MS64 condition. With a minuscule mintage of only 848,000 examples struck and such a low MS64 population, this coin is considered an Absolute and Condition Rarity.
