The Silver Peace Dollar, designed by Anthony de Francisci, was minted from 1921 to 1928 and once again from 1934 to 1935. Created to honor the restoration of peace to the world after World War I concluded, the Silver Peace Dollar is one of America's most renowned coins. Known for its difficulty to acquire in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the Peace Dollar is a numismatic favorite. This set includes one example each of the 1922-D, 1922-S, 1923-D, 1923-S, 1924-P, 1925-P, 1926-P, 1926-S, and 1928-P Peace Dollars each in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Peace Dollars struck in 1928 come from the final consecutive year of mintage before a 5-year hiatus for the series. With the lowest mintage of the series at only 360,649 examples, the 1928-P Peace Dollar is known as an Absolute Rarity.
