Description
The Silver Peace Dollar, designed by Anthony de Francisci, was minted from 1921 to 1928 and once again from 1934 to 1935. Created to honor the restoration of peace to the world after World War I concluded, the Silver Peace Dollar is one of America's most renowned coins. Known for its difficulty to acquire in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the Peace Dollar is a numismatic favorite. This set of two Brilliant Uncirculated 1922-P and 1923-P Peace Dollar examples was found in the renowned Great American Silver Dollar Hoard. With a BU population of less than 1% of its entire mintage, the 1922-P is known as a Condition Rarity.
