No other mint branch in U.S. history remains as synonymous with the Morgan Dollar series as the New Orleans Mint. The reason for this is because after this historic mint was seized by the Confederate States of America and recaptured by the Union, they almost exclusively produced Morgan Dollars. This set of four New Orleans Morgan Dollars contains some of the most highly sought-after ''O'' mintmark examples in the series, all in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
