Set of 3: 1943-P, D, & S Steel Lincoln Cents NGC/PCGS MS67

Description

The Lincoln Cent, designed by Victor David Brenner, began its mintage in 1909 and continues to be minted to this day. Due to the need for copper during WWII, Lincoln Cents produced in 1943 were composed of steel with a coating of zinc. This set contains one Mint State 67 example from each of the U.S. Mints producing Lincoln Cents at the time. Each example in this set has a Mint State 67 population of less than 1% of their respective populations. With such low MS67 populations, each 1943 Steel Lincoln Cent in this set is a tremendous Condition Rarity.
