Set of 3: 1954-P, D, & S Franklin Half Dollars NGC MS65 FBL We the People Label Includes Signed Soft Cover Franklin/Kennedy Book 3rd Edition
The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. This set includes three Franklin Half Dollars struck in 1954 at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints, each graded in Mint State 65 FBL condition. An FBL, or Full Bell Lines, designation is indicative of a Franklin with a nearly flawless strike that exhibits the highest quality of design elements. These coins come housed in the NGC exclusive ''We the People'' holder, which is a collaborative effort between Rick Tomaska and NGC. These renowned holders are only given to Franklin Half Dollars that Rick Tomaska has inspected and deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade. Out of every 1954-P Franklin struck, significantly less than 1% have been graded in MS65 FBL condition and just 24 of those are housed in the ''We the People'' holder. Out of every 1954-D Franklin struck, significantly less than 1% have been graded in MS65 FBL condition and just 26 of those housed in the ''We the People'' holder. Out of every 1954-S Franklin struck, significantly less than 1% have been graded in MS65 FBL condition and just 7 of those housed in the ''We the People'' holder. With such low MS65 FBL populations, these Franklin Half Dollars are tremendous Condition Rarities. To increase your numismatic knowledge, included with this purchase is the soft cover Third Edition of ''A Guide Book of Franklin & Kennedy Half Dollars'' .
