The American Silver Eagle series began in 1986, after President Ronald Reagan signed the Liberty Coin Act into law. After 35 years of mintage, John Mercanti’s Heraldic Eagle reverse design no longer graces the American Silver Eagle. The 2021 Type 2 American Silver Eagle will forever be remembered as the first issue to showcase the brilliant Landing Eagle reverse sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. This set includes both the 2021 Type 1 and Type 2 American Silver Eagles, each graded in perfect Mint State 70 condition. Additionally, the 2021 Type 1 American Silver Eagle will be housed in a holder hand-signed by designer John Mercanti while the Type 2 will be housed in a holder hand-signed by sculptor Michael Gaudioso. Set includes signed collector's cards from Mr. Mercanti and Mr. Gaudioso along with the American Silver Eagle book.
