Starting in 1993, the Proof production of American Silver Eagles became the sole responsibility of the Philadelphia Mint. During this span of time, the Philadelphia Mint struck eight issues of the ASE, all of which contained the P mintmark. Generally coins that were struck in Philadelphia do not contain any mintmark, so the P mintmark itself is a numismatic rarity. The seven coins in this set contain the only American Silver Eagles which are struck with a P mintmark besides the 2000-P Proof example, and the 2006-P and 2011-P Reverse Proof examples. Each of the seven stunning coins included in this set are graded a perfect Proof 70 with Ultra Cameo designation by NGC. In addition to that, each of their holders will be brandished with an RCTV exclusive pop art Reagan label, signed by John M. Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, who designed the reverse of the ASE.
