The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. The Proof issues of the Franklin Half Dollar would not commence until two years later in 1950. The eleven issues included in this set make up nearly the entire series of Proof Franklin Half Dollars, and each one is graded in Proof 67 condition. This set includes both the Type 1 and Type 2 versions of the 1956 Proof Franklin half Dollar as well as each annual issue from 1954 to 1963. The 1954 Proof Franklin Half Dollar has one of the lowest mintages of the series with only 233,300 examples struck, making it an Absolute Rarity. Recognizing the quality of these stunning coins, these Franklin Half Dollars have been placed in NGC exclusive ''We the People'' Tomaska Signature Series holders which are reserved for coins deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade after being personally inspected by Rick Tomaska, who has hand-signed the label himself. Each of these Franklin Half Dollars have PF67 populations significantly less than 1% of their respective mintages. With such low PF67 populations, each of these coins is a Condition Rarity.
