Set of 10: 1955-1964 Washington Quarter NGC/PCGS PF67 Cameo Tomaska CTD Signature Series

Description

The Washington Quarter, designed by John Flanagan, began mintage in 1932 and is still struck today. This set includes 10 proof issues struck from 1955 to 1964, each graded in Proof 67 Cameo condition. The year 1964 is the final year that proof issues were struck before a 3 year hiatus from 1965 to 1967. The examples struck in 1955, 1956, and 1958 have mintages under one million coins, making them Absolute Rarities. Each of the 10 coins in this set has been personally inspected by numismatic author Rick Tomaska to ensure the highest eye appeal and quality. Recognizing the extreme rarity of these coins and in deference to Rick Tomaska’s expertise, coins from the Signature Series have their own NGC registry point score which is higher than Washington Quarters in the standard holders. The Washington Quarters that make up this set have some of the finest eye-appeal and are considered Condition Rarities.
