The Jefferson nickel, designed by Felix Schlag, began mintage in 1938. For two years, from 2004 to 2005, the Westward Journey nickel was struck to commemorate the bicentennial of the Louisiana Purchase. Since then, a modified version of the Jefferson nickel, designed by Jamie Franki, has been struck. Rare Collectibles TV offers the finest selection of Jefferson nickels available.
