1957-D Franklin Half Dollar NGC MS67 Star FBL We the People Label Everest Toned

Description

The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. This Franklin Half Dollar was struck at the Denver Mint in 1957 and has been graded in Mint State 67 Star condition with Full Bell Lines designation. An FBL, or Full Bell Lines, designation is indicative of a Franklin with a nearly flawless strike that exhibits the highest quality of design elements. Recognizing the rarity of this stunning coin, this 1957-D Franklin Half Dollar has been designated an Everest selection which is reserved for coins featuring the most stunning eye appeal for its year and grade after being personally inspected by Rick Tomaska. Out of every 1957-D Franklin struck, only 2 examples have been graded in MS67 Star FBL condition by NGC and this is the only one in the NGC exclusive “We the People” holder. With so few examples in MS67 Star FBL condition, this 1957-D Franklin Half Dollar is not only a tremendous Condition Rarity but also one of the finest examples of the issue.

To tie it all together, this coin will come with the NGC exclusive “We the People” holder, which is a collaborative effort between Rick Tomaska and NGC. These renowned holders are only given to Franklin Half Dollars that Rick Tomaska has inspected and deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade.
