Description
The Morgan Dollar, designed by George T. Morgan, was minted from 1878 to 1904 and then once again in 1921. The San Francisco Mint began striking the Morgan Dollar in its first year of issue. Early year San Francisco Morgan Dollars are known for their beautiful strikes and booming luster. This set of five San Francisco Morgan Dollars contains issues from 1878 to 1882, all in Mint State 63 condition. Each coin in this set has an MS63 population under 2% of its mintages. With such low MS63 populations, each coin in this set is considered a Condition Rarity.
