- For the first time, this Incuse Indian Head design has been brought to life with the efforts of 12th Chief Engraver of the US Mint John Mercanti using Saint-Gaudens original models
- Struck from 5 oz of .999 fine pure silver & 1 oz of .999 fine pure gold
- An incuse design is struck into the surface of the coin, rather than raised above the field
