Set of 2: 1986-S and 2021-W American Silver Eagles NGC PF69 UCAM Reagan Mercanti Labels with Free Miles Standish ASE Book
The American Silver Eagle began production in 1986 and continues to be minted to this day. Struck from one ounce of pure 99.9% silver, the American Silver Eagle is the largest Silver Dollar to be struck in American history. This set of two proof American Silver Eagles includes an example struck in 1986 at the San Francisco Mint and another struck in 2021 at the West Point Mint. The year 2021 marks the final issue of the American Silver Eagle that feature John Mercanti's Heraldic Eagle design on the reverse. These two coins bookend the era of Mercanti's heraldic eagle design which lasted for 25 years. Marking the significance of this set, both of these near-perfect Proof 69 Ultra Cameo American Silver Eagles are displayed in holders hand-signed by designer John Mercanti himself.
