1959-P Franklin Half Dollar NGC MS65 FBL Tomaska Signature We the People Label

Description

The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. This specific Franklin Half Dollar was struck in 1959 at the Philadelphia Mint and has been graded in Mint State 65 FBL condition. An FBL, or Full Bell Lines, designation is indicative of a Franklin with a nearly flawless strike that exhibits the highest quality of design elements. Recognizing the quality of this stunning coin, this Franklin Half Dollars have been placed in NGC exclusive “We the People” holder. These holders are reserved for coins deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade after being personally inspected by Rick Tomaska, who has hand-signed the label himself. Only a very small number of 1959-P Franklin Half Dollars graded in MS65 condition will be eligible to be part of the Tomaska Signature Series. Out of every 1959-P Franklin struck, only 9 have been graded in MS65 condition and housed in the Tomaska Signature Series holder. With such a low MS65 Tomaska Signature Series population, this coin is considered a Condition Rarity.
