The California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Half Dollar, designed by Robert Aitken, was minted in 1935 and 1936. This specific example was struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1935 and has been graded in Mint State 65. The obverse of this coin exhibits a rendition of Minerva, the Roman Goddess of Wisdom, as well as a California grizzly bear from the state flag.
