Description
The Ten Dollar Indian Head Gold Eagle, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, was minted intermittently between 1907 and 1933. As one of the only two coin designs produced by the legendary sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the Indian Head Gold Eagle series is among the most popular to collect in American numismatic history. This specific example was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1932 and has been graded Mint State 62. Out of the entire mintage of this issue, less than 1% have been graded in MS62 condition. With such a low MS62 population, this stunning coin is considered a Condition Rarity. As nearly all 1933 Indian Head Gold Eagles, this is the last attainable issue of the series.
