- The Silver Peace Dollar was struck from 1921 to 1928 and then once again from 1934 to 1935
- This example was struck in 1934, the second to last year of issue, at the Philadelphia Mint
- The US Mint stopped striking the silver Peace Dollar due to the Stock Market Crash in 1929
- It was not until 1934 that the economy had recovered enough to merit striking the coin once again
- This is the first silver dollar struck after the Great Depression
- Graded in Gem Mint State 65 condition
