In 2021, the U.S. Mint brought back two illustrious designs to honor 100 years since the final issue of the Morgan Dollar and the first issue of the Peace Dollar. Struck in 99.9% silver, the 2021-P Peace Dollar brings back Anthony de Francisci’s design using modern techniques to show Lady Liberty in the highest quality. The Morgan Dollar was struck at 5 different mints during the four decades it was minted. While only the Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver Mints are still functioning today, the new 2021 Morgan Dollar will also feature issues with “O” and “CC” privy marks to honor the former Mintmarks. This set includes all five Morgan Dollars released in 2021 and the 2021 Peace Dollar, each graded in perfect Mint State 70 condition. Each 2021 Morgan Dollar issue has a miniscule mintage of 175,000 and the 2021 Peace Dollar has an equally low mintage of 200,000, making each example in this set an Absolute Rarity. To tie it all together, each of these coins will be housed in NGC exclusive First Day of Issue holders. First Day of Issue labels indicate that a coin was purchased on the coin’s first day issuance and sent to the grading service within 24 hours.
