Set of 3: 1968-S - 1970-S Kennedy Half Dollars NGC PF69UCAM Everest Aspiration Label

The Kennedy Half Dollar, designed by Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro, began its mintage in 1964 and continues to be struck to this day. These specific Kennedy Half Dollars were struck at the San Francisco Mint and have been graded in Proof 69 Ultra Cameo condition by NGC. While the first proof Kennedy Half Dollar was struck in 1964, the Mint did not strike proofs again until 1968 instead opting to produce Special Mint Sets. This set of 3 Kennedy Half Dollars contains the first three proof issues that collectors could obtain after the Special Mint Series ended in 1967. Each of these Kennedy Half Dollars have PF69 UCAM populations under 1% of their total mintage. To add to the rarity of these stunning Kennedy Half Dollars, they will be housed in Rick Tomaska’s exclusive NGC Aspiration holder. These renowned holders are only given to Kennedy Half Dollars that Rick Tomaska has inspected and deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade. In total, only 16 examples of the 1968-S, 22 examples of the 1969-S, and 11 examples of the 1970-S Kennedy Half Dollar have been graded in Proof 69 UCAM condition and placed into Aspiration holders, making these coins all tremendous Condition Rarities. Included with this purchase is Rick Tomaska’s Kennedy Aspiration pamphlet and “A Guide Book of Franklin & Kennedy Half Dollars.”
