Standing Liberty Quarter1916-1930

The Standing Liberty Quarter, designed by Herman A. MacNeil, was produced every year from 1916-1930 with the exception of 1922. This coin was minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints. The obverse contains a powerful image of Lady Liberty holding a shield in one hand and an olive branch in the other. The reverse displays a bald eagle in midflight surrounded by thirteen stars.
