The 1932 design for the Washington Quarter was originally intended to observe the 200th anniversary of George Washington`s birth however, due to its popularity the quarter design has been minted continuously to present day. From 1932 to 1964 the Washington Quarter was struck in 90% silver. John Flanagan designed both sides of the quarter. The obverse features the profile of Washington and the reverse showcases an eagle perched on a quiver of arrows. This 1935 example is in MS65 condition.
