Kennedy Half Dollar

The Kennedy Half Dollar, designed by Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro, was first issued in 1964 after the tragic assassination of the 35th President of the United States. This coin continues to be produced to this day. This coin has been minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints during the course of its history. The obverse, designed by Roberts, showcases a profile of President Kennedy while the reverse displays Gasparro’s representation of the presidential seal.
