This vibrant red 1944 Lincoln Cent was struck at the Denver Mint and is just as stunning as the day it was minted. Victor D. Brenner designed this Lincoln cent in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln`s birth. This coin is from the Variety 1 bronze type which features two stylized ears of wheat. Early Lincoln Cents are composed of 95% copper and 5% zinc. Struck in Denver this spectacular 1944 example is in MS66RD condition and has brilliant red color.
