  • Originally offered by Butterfield & Butterfield in the 1992 Auction of the Collections of Robert Berryman & Charles Schreiner III, this Bowie Knife is manufactured by W. Thornhill, London Circa 1870.
  • The Blade is a 9 1/4 inch Spear Point with a Brass Cross guard, Stag Handle and German Silver Pommel Cap.
  • Original Leather Scabbard Bearing the engraved letter 'C' on the Throat and Tip mounts.
  • The Kinfe is 14 5/16 inches overall, with a Brilliant Blade.
  • The Item Number in the Book is 3813.
  • Absolutely a wonderful example by a very prolific and highly sought after knife maker.
