1953 Franklin Half Dollar NGC PF69 CAM WTP Everest
The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. In 1953, the Philadelphia Mint struck 128,800 proof examples of the Franklin Half Dollar. This example has been graded in Proof 69 Cameo condition with "We the People” designation. Out of all 1953-P Proof Franklin Half Dollars, only 1 has been graded in PF69 CAM condition with no finer known examples. With such a low mintage and no examples graded higher, this stunning coin is not only an Absolute and Condition Rarity, but also the finest known example of the issue.
