The Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, was minted from 1907 to 1933. In 1913, the San Francisco Mint struck 34,000 examples of the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. This example has been graded in Mint State 64+ condition. Out of all 1913-S Saint-Gaudens, only 26 have been graded in MS64+ condition with just 32 finer known examples. With so few examples graded higher than this one, this stunning coin is not only a Condition Rarity, but is also among the finest known examples of the issue.
