The Morgan Dollar, designed by George T. Morgan, was minted between 1878 to 1904 and for one final year in 1921. This example was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1894 and is graded in Mint State 65 condition. Out of every 1894-P Morgan Dollar struck, only 31 examples have been graded in Mint State 65 condition with just 12 examples graded higher. With a miniscule mintage of only 110,000 coins struck and an even lower MS65 population, this coin is not only considered a tremendous Absolute and Condition Rarity but also among the finest known of the issue.
