1951-S Franklin Half Dollar NGC MS66+ FBL We the People Label Everest - Coins
The Franklin Half Dollar, designed by John R. Sinnock, was minted from 1948 to 1963. This Franklin Half Dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1951 and has been graded in Mint State 66+ condition with Full Bell Lines designation. An FBL, or Full Bell Lines, designation is indicative of a Franklin with a nearly flawless strike that exhibits the highest quality of design elements. Out of every 1951-S Franklin struck, only 48 examples have been graded in MS66+ FBL condition and this is the only one in the NGC exclusive “We the People” holder. With so few examples in MS66+ FBL condition, this 1951-S Franklin Half Dollar is a tremendous Condition Rarity.
To tie it all together, this coin will come with the NGC exclusive “We the People” holder, which is a collaborative effort between Rick Tomaska and NGC. These renowned holders are only given to Franklin Half Dollars that Rick Tomaska has inspected and deemed to exhibit the highest quality luster and eye appeal for their year and grade.
