1939-P Washington Quarter NGC/PCGS MS67+

The original Washington Quarter, designed by John Flanagan, was minted from 1932 to 1998 before the design was modified. This specific example was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1939 and has been graded in Mint State 67+ condition. Washington Quarters minted before 1965, like this example, were struck from 90% silver. Out of all 1939-P Washington Quarters struck, only 104 examples have been graded in Mint State 67+ condition with just 35 examples graded higher. With such a low MS67+ population and so few graded higher, this coin is a tremendous Condition Rarity.
