1938-P Mercury Dime PCGS MS67FB

The Mercury Dime, designed by Adolph A. Weinman, was minted from 1916 to 1945. This stunning Mercury Dime, struck in 1938 at the Philadelphia Mint, is considered one of the finest known of the issue graded in  Mint State 67 condition with Full Bands designation. A Full Bands, or FB, designation is indicative of a Mercury Dime with a nearly flawless strike that exhibits the highest quality of design elements. Out of every 1938-P Mercury Dime struck, only 293 have been graded in MS67FB condition with just 26 graded higher. With such a low MS67FB population and so few graded higher, this coin is not only a Condition Rarity but also one of the finest known.
