1901-P Morgan Dollar PCGS MS63 CAC

The Morgan Dollar, designed by George T. Morgan, was minted between 1878 to 1904 and once again in 1921. This example was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1901 and is graded in Mint State 63 condition. Recognized for their low survival rate in Mint State condition, most of the 1901 Morgan Dollar issue have been heavily circulated and none have shown up in any known hoards. Out of every 1901-P Morgan Dollar struck, only 240 examples have been graded in Mint State 63 condition with just 72 examples graded higher. With such a low MS63 population, this coin is a tremendous Condition Rarity.
